It deeply saddens me to be writing this. After the senseless violence that has happened in Orlando this past weekend, I am at a loss. I personally knew one of the victims, as we went to Highschool together. As we look back on the account of that morning, we will learn that this man's actions were hate driven. It saddens and disgusts me. Just because you do not believe in one's way of life, does not mean they should be murdered.
I am glad to see how the people of Orlando has come together in this time of need. People waiting in lines for 5-7 hours to donate blood, people reaching out to offer food and help, airlines offering free plane rides to Orlando for victims family members. It is sad that a tragic event is waht brings us all together, but what a site to see.
We are all human. We all have the same blood running through our veins. We all bleed. And we all have #OnePulse.
